Varieties of fuchsia with large double blooms guaranteed to take your breath away.

ANNABEL - (Ryle 1977 - Royal Horticultural Society’s
Certificate of Garden Merit) Double. Sepals are white flushed pink
with a white veined pink corolla. Lettuce coloured foliage. Blooms
will be paler in filtered shade. Strong growth and will make good
basket, standard, pillar or pot plant.
BERBAS CORONATION - (Bats-Wesseling 1985) Double. Sepals rose with rose corolla streaked dark maroon. Trailing growth and fairly free flowering for large bloomed variety.
BLUEBERRY FIZZ - Double. Sepals white, corolla deep purple splashed pink. Trailer with quite spectacular blooms. Best in dappled shade.
BLUE VEIL - (Pacey 1980) Double. White sepals, with pale blue corolla. Trailer with large blooms. Best in dappled shade.
BLUSH OF DAWN - (Martin 1962) Double. Waxy white sepals with a full corolla of silver grey and lavender. A beautiful bloom and very free flowering. Stiff trailing growth. A slow growing cultivar, particularly early in the year but well worth the wait and we consider it still to be the best of the silver greys on offer.
BROOKWOOD JOY - (Gilbert 1983) Double. White sepals held horizontally. Corolla hyacinth blue marbled with phlox-pink. Medium sized blooms. Needs to be stopped early. Stiff trailer and best colour in partial shade.
CHEERS - (Stubbs 1979) Double. Sepals coral pink, corolla orangey red. Bright blooms. Upright growth. Can be brittle and needs careful handling.
CLAUDIA - (Sinton 2000) Double. Sepals pale pink with deeper pink corolla. Excellent full basket variety. Self-branching and free flowering, making a lovely overall shape. Medium sized blooms.
DANNY BOY - (Tiret 1961) Double. Sepals deep pink, corolla bright red. Large blooms on upright growth. Large blooms.
DEVONSHIRE DUMPLING - (Hilton 1981) Double. Pale pink sepals, corolla paler pink with deeper pink edges. Will make good basket. Best in dappled shade or early morning sun and late evening sun.
*ENGLISH ROSE - (Pacey 1987) Double. White tipped green sepals with imperial purple corolla. Trailer.
GLOWING LILAC - (Stubbs 1987) Double. White flushed pink sepals, orchid blue corolla. Trailer. Best in some shade to get the ultimate colouring.
JANIE - Double. Deep aubergine red sepals with dark aubergine corolla. Dark green foliage with upright bushy growth. Dark dramatic plant suitable for the border or pot work.
JESSIE PEARSON - Double Tube and sepals white, flushed
pink. Corolla soft purple splashed with pale mauve and pink. Upright
bushy growth with fairly pale green foliage. Best grown in shade for
colour.
*LAVENDER HEAVEN - (Michiels 2005) Double. Sepals pale rose tipped light yellowish green. Corolla Pale purple, maturing to light violet. Trailer.
MAMA BLEUSS - (Tiret 1959) Double. Pink sepals with bright blue corolla. Trailer. Will make fairly good basket but may need support. Best in partial shade.
MARCUS GRAHAM - (Stubbs 1985) Double. Sepals pink with salmon corolla. Very large blooms. Classed as a bush but will trail whenever it is allowed!
*MARIELLE VAN DUMMELEN - (Comperen 2003) Double. Sepals creamy white, with snow white corolla. Upright or trailer.
MILLENIUM - (Roes
2002) Double. Hailed as the 'black' fuchsia but I think this
is perhaps a nearer description. Paler aubergine tube and sepals.
Corolla very deep aubergine purple. Upright growth.
MISS DEBBIE - (Stubbs 1993) Double. Light pink sepals with orchid pink corolla splashed with lighter pink. Trailer. Best in partial shade.
POWDER PUFF - (Hodges 1953) Double. Sepals pale rose, corolla apple blossom pink. Trailer. Will make a good basket. Needs some shade from hot sun.
*QUASAR - (Walker 1974) Double. White sepals with violet blue corolla. At the height of its popularity a cutting of Quasar was like gold dust. Still beautiful. Best grown in partial shade.
ROYAL VELVET - (Waltz 1962 - Royal Horticultural Society’s
Award of Garden Merit) Double. Sepals are crimson red with a corolla
of deep purple. Large fluffy, ruffled blooms with upright growth.
Needs regular pinching back to achieve good early shape. Good in pots,
in the border or as a standard.
ROY WALKER - (Walker-Fuchsia-La 1975) Double. White on white upright bush. Good white if kept in at least partial shade.
SILVER ANNIVERSARY - (Stubbs 1985) Double. Sepals white on upper surface, tinged orchid underneath. Corolla is lovely silvery-blue, maturing to orchid blue. Early pinching advised to make a good basket.
SMOKEY MOUNTAIN - (Wood 1987) Double. Sepals
whitish pink with smoky purple corolla maturing to smoky maroon.
Prefers partial shade. Stiff trailer.
STANLEY CASH - (Pennisi 1970) Double.
Sepals white tipped green, corolla dark purple. An old favourite.
Trailer with super colouring.
VEENLUST - (Jansink 1995) Double. Tube and sepals white. Corolla bright red with pink splash on some petals. Wonderful colouring and very eye catching. Will make a good basket.
WALZ ESTAFETE - (Waldenmaier 1981) Double. White
sepals. Deep pinky orange corolla. Good trailing habit. Will
make a nice colourful basket.
WIGHT MAGIC - (Porter 1988) Double. Large white
flowers on upright growth. May need support and definitely best
in partial shade.
